About Qodiva

For Women.
Akifa Khattak is a healthcare attorney with a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University. She became passionate about women’s health when she was diagnosed with endometriosis and a rare gynecological cancer. Her particular case was the first in the medical literature. She had to undergo three surgeries in a single year. In addition, Akifa had to learn to be a zealous patient advocate due to the rarity of her disease
Akifa turned her medical journey into advocacy through Qodiva. Qodiva was established to provide access and information on women’s health to the public. In addition, Qodiva was created to supply women with the first comprehensive women’s period supplement.
